Orders are not confirmed until a deposit is received.
Celebration cakes require a 50% deposit of the order total.
Wedding cakes require a £100 deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Final balance
Celebration cake balance to be paid in full before collection/delivery.
Wedding cake balance to be paid in full 4 weeks prior to wedding date.
Collection of Cakes
You will be provided with the collection address during the ordering process. A mutually agreeable time for collection will be arranged. Please ensure you collect your cake at the agreed time.
If the cake is collected, the full responsibility for the safe transportation and storage of the cake is with the client. Please lift and carry cakes holding the bottom of the box.
Cakes are best transported on a flat, non-slip surface, preferably in the empty boot of a car. Do not transport your cake on the seat of a car as these surfaces are not flat and can cause damage to your cake. We also do not recommend transporting the cake on a person’s lap.
Contempo Cakes Bournemouth will not be responsible for any damage to the cake after collection.
Ingredients
Please make us aware of any food allergies or intolerances at the time of booking.
The cakes are made in a domestic kitchen that handles dairy, nuts and gluten, and other potential allergens. We are therefore unable to guarantee that any cake is free from any allergens.
Your cake may contain non-edible elements including dowels and supports. You will be made aware of these upon collection/delivery.
Storage
Cakes should be kept in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight, preferably in the box provided.
Fondant covered cakes should not be placed in the refrigerator or in an airtight container as this may spoil the quality of the decoration.
Cakes should be consumed within 3 days of delivery/collection. Cupcakes are best eaten within 2 days of collection/delivery.
